Forgive me

On the 24 April 2007, daddy very reluctantly made the
th
decision to place mummy into a nursing care home for
people with dementia.

Before mummy could go into the care home, she had to
be admitted to a special hospital to get her medications
correctly settled.
Daddy and I would go to the hospital each day to see
mummy but gradually the heartbreaking realisation
came that mummy’s life was slowly failing as her mind
and body battled against the awful dementia.

Mummy was never to leave the hospital.
