16 November 2022* Destination: Karuah
Our third Wednesday ride in March was to Karuah for lunch via Paterson for morning tea.
Eight bikes and one scooter with nine riders departed McDonalds, Hexham for a pleasant
ride along every back road to the Paterson Country Cafe.
From Paterson we rode along Gresford Road to Dungog Road. We rode through to Martins
Creek, Wallarobba to Clarence Town Road and onto Clarence Town. From Clarence Town
we rode along Lime Burners Creek Road to the Bucketts Way. We rode down the Bucketts
Way, turned left at Twelve Mile Creek and up the Pacific Highway to the Memorial Park at
Karuah overlooking the river for lunch. Mike and Colleen joined us for lunch
Lunch was takeaway from the Karuah Seafood and Thai so it was fish and chips all round.
After lunch we all turned in different directions and made our own way home.
A good ride to enjoy a nice Spring Day in November.
