5 January 2022* Destination: Gloucester
Waking up this morning,
I was determined to do
the full ride, instead of
being an "arfa", but the
weather was not look-
ing too great.
I got saturated, going
through Wallsend, but
dried out at Maccas,
waiting for other riders
to show. Six other riders
decided that the
weather was going to
be ok.
We headed off, after
Ken gave his usual directives, to Clarence Town, where the cafe owner was very grateful of our
patronage.
After about an hour of banter, mainly at the expense of the "Prancing Dancer", we headed for
Gloucester, via Booral, then up the Buckets way, should be called the "Bucket of S..t Way", as it is
getting back it's normal broken up road.
Arriving in Gloucester, which was very popular, for a Wednesday, we made our way to the cafe,
& continued our “ripping off Ron day”. By the way, Ron, we forgot to go to the bank, on the way
home.
Time to go, with Ron &
myself, heading to 12
mile, & down the high-
way, Brett led the rest
through Dungog, via
some back tracks.
Great day, with great rid-
ing partners, with Ken do-
ing another great job of,
of ride leader.
Thanks all, for a wonderful
day, & some great ban-
ter. Thanks Ron, for being
the "butt" of the banter
