Mike Parker Ride 26th October
Diamant Brut
Strewth cobber what’s with this foreign caper in our bloody town? Gone to the bleedin dogs with this fancy
pancy Jeanne d’Moore with stuff like Baguettes and Crepe (sounds like a bleedin dunny to me)!
Well there you are, a touch of culture on todays ride. Off to Moora we went via Muchea and Bindoon where
some of our 18 riders opted to stop for a bleedin pie.
The Jeanne d’ Moore was a very pleasant surprise and most unusual for a small country town. Worth looking
up on Google as it caters to a wide customer base.
As we walked in a group of Ladies were sat having a morning chin wag, looked up and asked “ are you
motorcyclists”? Not sure what gave us away!
Return ride we headed out of town on the Dandaragan road and turned off onto Rowes road, bit of a bugger
to pick as sign post missing. Great road with a similarity to the whoopies. Scenery was awesome.
Thanks to Des (has the Triumph that cannot stand on its own ) for TEC duties.
Until the next time être prudent. URU.
Pete Krause Ride 2nd November
Thanks to Pete Krause who led around 15 of us on today's ride. Just a simple run out through O'Briens to
Chidlow he said. Well, it was a bit like a "simple" Xmas tree that you bring into your house, rather plain until
you dress it up a bit. And that's what Pete did. He embellished the basic route with numerous excursions and
add-ons that made it a memorable day. Thanks Pete and to our TEC, BP.
