 RK9/ 3.  Everything  that  we  have  said  applies  only  if  Reuven
 recognizes Shimon’s personality, that if he tells him he was cheated,    הלווע  השוע  אוה  יאדוב  דחאבד  .ול  תולגל  רוסא  )ד(
 Shimon will not take matters into his own hands but instead he will
 go and file charges in Beit Din and take Plony, the cheater, to Beit    אוהה ןינעה תא ןיעדוי םינש םא וליפאו ,ל"נכו ורופיסב
 Din and follow the court’s decision.   But if Reuven recognizes    עייסמ הזב שיש המ דבל( ןידה דצמ ול רפסל ןירוסא כ"ג
 Shimon as someone who will take matters into his own hand and
 seize the value of the overcharge or that Shimon will return the    םינפואה  יפל  יכ  )ב"ס  ףוסב  ל"נכו  הריבע  ירבוע  ידי
 merchandise to Plony or will not pay the balance of the money he    הככ כ"ג ןיד יפ לע אהיש אוה הז רתיהל ךירצש םיירקיעה
 owes Plony without the court’s permission, then Reuven must be    תיבב ולא םהירבד ודיעהו םירפסמה םתוא םיאב ויה םא(
 careful in reporting this gossip to Shimon and must conform to three
 rules in order not to violate the esur of Lashon Hara or Rechilut:  (1)    ,םרופיס י"ע ול ןירפסמש שיאה התע השועש ומכ )ןיד
 That both speakers (conveying this report to Shimon) must have    םידע ודיעי םאש אנידל רייצל דואמ השק הז ןינעב וליאו
 been  first-hand  witnesses  to  the  overcharged  sale.    If  they  only    לטבתת םירחא ןוממל תרחא םעפב ששח אלש דחא לע
 heard about the overcharge in the selling price of the merchandise
 from others, it is forbidden for them to tell Shimon (36) (that he    הארנ אלש ןמז לכ רחא םדא םע השעש תופתושה ז"יע
 was cheated).  (2) There must be two speakers (37) (conveying this    םינפב םירבדה יתמתס ןכ לע ,וילע הלוע הזה קסעב התע
 report \ gossip to Shimon).  (3) The consequences of their report to
 Shimon may not cause any more damages to Plony that he would   .רוסיאל
 have received if the case had gone to a Beit Din and the court found
 Plony guilty (and penalized him to the extent that the law required).      התע דע גהנתהש המב וילע םתעידי ןפואש ימרתיא םאו
 But if these two speakers are familiar with Shimon’s personality    ולא םהירבד םיאב ויה םאש ןינעב אוה ,םירחא ןוממב
