pulled an automatic gun out from under his coat and directed

over his personal documents.

The Pole was undecided as to whether he should comply, a
look of hesitation crossing his face, but Alexander continued to
pierce him with a sharp, authoritative look, and reluctantly he
capitulated. He handed his rifle over to Alexander and placed

The Pole beamed, his eyes sparkling, and he decided to give
Alexander his full cooperation.

you our code of action and our code of retreat, the names and
addresses of all the activists,and where we store our ammunition.
And you should know, this pogrom was planned by the N.S.Z.
Too many Jews have been pervading Praga, and they’re helping

each other till the end, and then we would emerge, armed and
