Past tense refers to verb forms that indicate
actions that has been happened in the past. In
English, there are several types of past tense:
o Simple Past:
Used to describe actions that were
completed in the past. It is usually use the
second form of the verb (V2).
Example: "I walked to the store yesterday."
o Past Continuous:
Used to describe actions that were
ongoing at a specific moment in the past. It
uses "was" or "were" followed by a verb ending
in -ing.
Example: "I was reading a book when he
called."
o Past Perfect:
Used to describe actions that were
completed before another action in the past. It
uses "had" followed by the past participle (V3)
of the verb.
Example: "I had finished my homework before
I went out."

Conjunction of Time (Kata penghubung waktu)
Conjunction of time is a word that connects a
series of events in a story. Time of conjunction
functions to show chronological order and help
readers understand cause and effect relationships
and time dynamics in a narrative.
