ERICA BRAXTON is a proud union construction worker & certified welder. A memberof Plumbers Local 24 North-
ern New Jersey since 1993 and a member of Iron Workers Local 11 Northern New Jersey since 2015. Advocate of
women and minority issues inconstruction. She is the founder of several social groups which mentor
women in the trades.
MAISHA A. CUSTARD Is a part of a team that mplemented the Broward Sheriff ’s Office’s wireless
access system and developed technology disaster recovery programs. Today, she is assigned to the
Information Technology Division. Maisha is also a professional high fashion model who has performed
in shows around the country and abroad.is also a spoken word artist and poet who is working on
publishing a book of poems.
DEANA NEELY is owner of Detroit Voltage and was one of 7 recipients chose by Siemens to receive
the grant to help support the growth and sustainability of the company which allowed her an oppo-
runity to scale her company and increase market share in the Detroit area. She was recently fea-
tured in the MMSDC Gazette.
DIANE KING-FLOWERS is President of DEK Construction, served as Project Manager for a recent resi-
dential renovation project that received rave reviews by the the homeowner.
SABREENA MILLER is owner of MDI General Contracting is a community activist and candidate for
