President’s Message
Yetunde Oyewole
2022 MED WEEK CELEBRATION
For the first time in two years, First Coast Business Alliance (FCBA) and its Board
members are thrilled to host the 2022 Med Week in person following the multifaceted
challenges that came as a result of the Pandemic (COVID 19). On behalf of 2022 Med
Week planning committee and members of the Board, I say welcome and a BIG thanks
for your sponsorship.
This year, we will highlight and celebrate the many accomplishments and milestones of the
many small and minority businesses here on the First Coast. Their sacrifices and resilience has
made it possible to continue to thrive amidst the pandemic and beyond. Congratulations and
thank you for your contributions towards the success of our local economy.
FCBA, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization helps build bridges and create opportunities
for small, women, and minority businesses to connect with local agencies, corporations,
and other resources. We have the pleasure of hosting the 2022 MED Week celebration
with the theme: “Creating Opportunities- Reconnect, Revitalize and Inspire.” At this year’s
Breakfast, Printella Bankhead, owner of EBS Security (SBDC’s Small Business Leader of
the Year) kicked off the celebration with an energizing and insightful message to fellow
small business owners in attendance.
The 2022 MED Week celebration would not have been possible without the support of all
our local agencies, businesses, resource partners and volunteers committed to ensuring the
success of our local small and minority businesses. A huge thanks to our sponsors for the
contribution of resources and other in-kind donations.
Once again, I would like to thank everyone for supporting the First Coast’s 2022 MED
Week Celebration. See you next year!
