“It was like the presence of God Almighty was upon me.
That’s the only way I can describe the feeling.

science professor yelled. Everyone took their seats.

Adriana Stands for Truth

Adriana and Emilia walked to class and quickly seated
themselves.
“Adriana, you’re late,” Professor Abraham said.

“I’m sorry,” said Adriana.
“That you are,” said Professor Abraham laughing sarcas-
tically.
“We will not do any work today. However, I have a sub-

ject that I would like for us to discuss. After introducing this
crucial subject, I will open the floor to anyone who chooses to
speak on this subject and give their input. The subject is SAME-
SEX MARRIAGE.
Now, in my opinion, I see no problem with a man ex-
pressing his love and affection to another man. And the same

applies to a woman. There are people in this world that would
like us to think differently. They want us to believe that God is a
God of hate. But he is a God of love. What kind of God would
he be if he didn’t allow two men or two women to express
their true love and affection for each other? As we know, in

the upcoming years, same-sex marriage will be the norm in
this country, and I encourage each of you to embrace it and
well...”
Professor Abraham’s voice trailed off as Adriana inter-
rupted him, “Are you saying this out of your outrageous carnal
thinking, or is this God?”

Professor Abraham responded. ”Adriana, I was not fin-
ished. Please allow me to continue.”
