      Exciting News!
     Thanks  to  the  Ontario  Trillium  Foundation  Grants,  these  incredible  projects  are  launching  across  Hastings-Lennox  &
     Addington:
     • Addington Highlands: $190,300 for new playground equipment at three municipal parks.
     • Town of Deseronto: $199,800 to upgrade the public library with accessible washrooms and a new HVAC system.
     • Marmora & Area Curling Club: $62,100 for the installation of a comprehensive fire alarm system.
     • Tweed & Company Theatre: $45,300 for new LED lighting fixtures and replacement of old theatrical draperies at the
     Bancroft Village Playhouse.
     • Town of Bancroft: $160,000 to install an accessible and inclusive playground.
     This totals an impressive $657,500 invested into our riding to create safe, inclusive, and vibrant spaces for everyone to
     enjoy!

      Small towns… Big Hearts
      Always  nice  to  step  back  in  time  and  visit  the  Pioneeer
      Museum  in  Cloyne.  It  was  lovely  meeting  Canada  Summer
      student Sadie while I was there.
      While up on 41, I stopped into see the bride to be, Stephanie
      at Finnegan's General Store & Stephanie’s Good Pizza Shoppe
      The last stop of the morning was at the last summer farmers
      market of the season in NorthBrook. Always nice to support &
      connect with locals in the community.

      Our government is getting back to the basics in  Lower Trent Valley Fish & Game Club hosted a sold out range day on Aug
      schools,  with  a  focus  on  reading,  writing  and  24th making it the largest Ladies’ Day Range event in Canada.  The goal of
      math. Learning should come first with students,  this  event  was  to  introduce  women  and  girls  to  the  shooting  sports,
                                                       encouraging  empowerment,  education,  and  confidence  in  a  time  when
      that’s  why  we’re  making  sure  cell  phones  are  hunting  and  shooting  sports  have  been  unfairly  targeted.  Many  of  the
      out of sight in classrooms. That’s why we’ve said  skills that are a huge part of Canadian tradition are at risk of being lost
      for  kids  in  grade  6  and  below,  they’ll  have  to  for sport shooting, hunting and farmers.
