MADOC LIONS CLUB
Special Guest at Madoc Lions Dinner Meeting with Joseph Gulizia President and CEO of UNIVERSAL CARE, INC. who is
building the Long Term Care facility in Madoc. Joseph has been involved in Long Term Care facilities since 1997. They own
40 LTC facilities in Ontario. Joseph, presented the sketches and proposed layout of the 128 bed facility which will be
constructed on 7 acres behind fire Hall with the entrance off St. Lawrence St. W. The facility is named after a family
member of Joseph, "Clare McFaul".
Along with the layout Joseph answered questions about the economics of the project such as the 150 full time positions and
70 part time positions. How will the facility be staffed, Completion of the project is 2025. Madoc Lions will be looking into
participating with the project in such areas as Tree Planting, Bench outside, Amenities inside. We Care About Our
