Central Hastings Support Network

Serving Central Hastings since 1985

Central Hastings Support Network (CHSN) is a registered, non-profit corporation that delivers programs for the benefit of the
Central Hastings community. Programs are developed to meet the needs of people suffering from lack of adequate resources,
poverty, age, disability or a vulnerability that impedes their participation in the greater community.

Helping Hands Food Bank - The Helping Hands Food Bank provides much-needed food to families and individuals in Centre
Hastings and Madoc Township. We do our best to provide food for registered clients for three to four days per month. Out of
town requests are forwarded to sister food banks in neighbouring communities.
Opening Hours of the Helping Hands Food Bank: Monday 10 am to 1 pm, Tuesday 6 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday 10 am to 2 pm,
Thursday 1pm to 4 pm

CENTRAL HASTINGS TRANSIT
Book your ride with our new “On Demand” service from Central
Hastings Transit. Cost effective transportation between Madoc,
Marmora, Stirling, Tweed and the city of Belleville, based on a
‘rideshare’ On Demand service, rides provided using our fully
screened volunteer drivers in their own vehicles.

EVENTS

Support A Local Child At Christmas!
Drop in to the TD Bank and select an angel from the Christmas
Tree. The angel will state the child’s age and boy/girl. Purchase
a gift for that child and return it to the TD

ONLINE ART AUCTION
We weren’t able to do any of our fundraisers last year so this will
be an important fundraiser for all of our programs. We will add a
link for the auction website closer to the launch date of March
18, 2021. You will be able to browse the art work ahead of the
start of bidding and also on our Facebook Page.
