QUEENSBOROUGH YOUTH IN THE GIVING SPIRIT!
     Jamie Gordon

It is with great joy to see our youth hard a work for such a great cause! The spirit of Christmas has been about giving and
sharing with others. In the Queensborough community two young residents have been busy creating ornaments and an
Angel Tree. Andrew and Emma are restocked and ready for sales, as all the proceeds go directly to the Grace Inn Homeless
Shelter. And as you can see, Emma and Andrews angel tree is starting to fill up!
The kids are wanting to fill this tree from top to bottom!!!
And they need your help. We are looking for adult sizes of
winter hats, mittens, gloves, scarfs, boots, jackets and
snow pants, if you have some laying around that don't fit
pass them our way and help keep someone a little
     warmer.
If you have any donations please feel free to send a
     message through our Facebook Page.

NEW FIRE HALL/COMMUNITY HUB COMING TO MADOC TOWNSHIP
Madoc Township Council is happy to announce the impending arrival of a new Fire Hall. This new space will serve our
hardworking fire fighting volunteers very well, giving them ample space to park the emergency vehicles as well as a space to
comfortably train regularly. Madoc Township Council started considering the idea of a new Fire Hall in 2020 after having a
Fire Services Review done by Emergency Management and Training Inc. From that review came 40 recommendations, one of
those recommendation was to construct a new fire station to meet the needs of the fire department and a growing
     community.
The support of the community members and businesses has been incredible thus far.
