Welcome to tech talk. That time of year again when the back-to-school craze hits for shopping for supplies and computers.
What to do? Do we purchase a new system or continue using the current computer?

Here is how I would call it. If the current computer is under 5 years and still functioning,
use it. It may require a tune-up to speed things back up and insure there is no malware or
viruses on it, that is a much cheaper option. Remember new systems also come
preloaded with Windows 11, if your current system is Windows 10, no worries that will still
be supported for a few years yet

Windows 8 or older have come to the end of their support lives with Microsoft and should but updated to Windows 10 or
replaced. With everyone trying to save $$$$ where you can, first option should be consulting a Computer Repair shop on
the best approach. We can assist you with this, so if you are in-doubt simply ask the question.
