Gwadar
A port city on the southwestern coast of Balochistan, Gwadar is a recently discovered treasure which was only
known as a fishing village until 2013, when different developmental projects turned people’s attention towards
the city. When it comes to natural beauty. Gwadar is famous for its unblemished beaches. The beaches and their
magnificent sunsets have become popular with tourists that wish to witness their transformation with the
west-bound journey of the sun, Along with its strategic importance, Gwadar boosts alluring carved rock forma-
tions along its pristine, sandy shores,
Gadani
An hour’s drive from Karachi Gadani is a coastal village in district Lasbela One of the world’s top three largest
Ship-breaking yards, it consists of 13e ship-breaking plots located along a 10 km long beachfront. By conservati-
ve estimates, about 200,000 people depend on this yard to earn their livelihood. In addition to its economical
contribution, the beach is famous for its sandy white shores unsullied by pebbles. The adjacent Mountains juxta-
posed with the tumultuous sec offer a captivating view.
Kund Malir beach, Makran
Situated at the southem edge of Hingol Notional Park, Kund Malir is a popular spot amongst thdassophies. The
untouched shoreline rests between the seo, the desert, and the mountains, parting a breathtaking spectacle to
behold. Gaze at the anthraling waves as you venture away from chilotion to this remote stretch of noradise.
Astola Beach, Gwadar
Known also as Jazeera Hoft Tolar (Seven Hils Island), Astola is reached by a boat ride from Pasni after a
seven-hour drive from Karachi While traveling to Astola from Pasni, one encounters sand dunes that appear to be
made of gold when iluminated by the sunlight. A large oddly shaped mountain with steep cliffs surrounded by
turquoise water makes this beach stand out.
Pishukan
A small fishing town near Gwadar. Pishukan with its exquisite beach, is largely unknown due to a lack of com-
mercial exposure. Its colorful fishing boats and ribbed sand dunes showcase a fantasy coastal viloge come to life.
This village itself is fabled for the blonde, blue-eyed and fairly complexed people of Portuguese descent. The
town’s fish industry is also famous for providing the best fish in the province. Future plans for the town envision
the Gwadar Jetty being moved to it. The town also leads into the village of Ganz with yet another beach coupled
with fascinating cliffs and mountains.
Daran Beach
The outskirts of Doran beach near Jewani host some breathtaking natural caves, one of which is approximately 50
feet in depth. The place has a special hut maintained by coastguards which was built for Queen Victoria during
the World War I as a fulfilment of her wish to see the enchanting sunset. An ancient treat for visitors, this hut
attracts tourists like nothing else. Daran is also the last town before the Pak-Iran border begins
Turtle beach Ormara
As the name suggests, this beach is famous for the different species of turtles including ones that are endangered,
such as Green turtle and Olive Ridley species. Stretched across 10 km, this sandy beach is situated on the outs-
kirts of Ormara Placed between undulating waves and spied cliffs, this photogenic beauty offers a serene setting
to kick back and unwind.
West Bay Beach
Locally known as Paddi Zirr, it is located near Gwadar and is one of the two beaches separated by an isthmus, the
other being Demi Zirr. The vibrant blue sky and the dul sea-green water make for a bewitching sight.
Juddi and Zarrian
Named after the mountains Juddi and Zarrain, this beach is at a distance of just 5 km from Pasni and placed
between the two mountains. It is a heaven for people that are looking to get away from the bustle of urban life.
This beach is also famous for the prayer place of Hazrat Khizar Hayat (AS). Devotees from for flung areas come
to visit and pay homage. This beach hosts a fiesta during the festival of Eid which attracts a lot of visitors, and is
also home to seagulls that migrate from Siberia.
Sonmiani
Sonmiani SADFR is not accessible to the general public unless allowed through an Army Base, Other than the
astounding beach this place boasts picnic huts and guestrooms to be rented, making the spot exquisite for a
family vacation. This is also by far the only beach in Balochistan facilitated with attractions like boat rides,
camel/horse riding bonfire/BBQ pits and beach buggy. Though spellbinding throughout the day, this beach is
bathed in a mesmerizing golden light at sunset
