Chicago Lodge 7 Officer Awards
On July 20, Officer Jonathan Kizer was off duty and in a drive-thru lane of a restaurant when he observed two male subjects in an altercation. Officer Kizer exited his vehicle and saw one offender cutting the other with a box cutter. Officer Kizer ordered the offender to drop the weapon, and the offender complied after multiple verbal commands. The offender was placed in custody and charged with aggravat-
ed battery. Due to the quick response of the officer, a dan- gerous offender was removed from the streets of the city of Chicago.
It is with great appreciation that the Fraternal Order of Police Chicago Lodge #7 presents Officer Jonathan Kizer with the Life Saving Award.
