Cops in the Community
After a dreary April gave way to a milder May, signs of life popped up across the city as residents emerged to get outdoors. It doesn’t take nice weather to get Chicago Police Officers to engage with citizens — they’ll go just about anywhere to meet people at events and other get-togethers — but everything is more enjoyable when the weather is beautiful. Take a look at some of the places and ways that officers connected with the community in May.
