PREPARATION
Paint the entire surface with DecoArt Multi-Purpose Sealer and let dry. Lightly sand and wipe away dust.
Using a damp 1" flat wash brush, paint the surface with DecoArt Media Gesso; let dry. Lightly sand and wipe away any dust.
Using the 1" flat wash brush, paint the surface with Raw Umber; let dry.
Using the 1" flat wash brush, paint the surface with White Vintage Effects; let dry.
Using the 1" flat wash brush, paint the surface with Patina Vintage Effects; let set for a couple of minutes. Using a soft rag or paper towel, softly wipe from left to right to remove some of the Vintage Effects. If you remove too much, simply reapply, let set for a couple of minutes and wipe away. Let completely dry.
Sand the surface from left to right – from the top down to the bottom. We’re trying to expose the Raw Umber color underneath. Wipe away any dust.
