 PREPARATION
Follow the manufacturer’s label instructions for each me- dium being used. Wipe the dust particles from the surface with a tack cloth. Use a no. 10 filbert to basecoat the orna- ment with Phthalo Blue. Let dry and repeat. Apply DecoArt Traditions Extender & Blending Medium and slip-slap the colors Phthalo Blue on entire surface, Sapphire Blue in center area and then Opaque Titanium White in the top area. Use the mop brush in an X motion to soften the colors together, work- ing from the center out. Let dry completely, and use fine-grit sandpaper to lightly smooth the surface and edge. Wipe clean with tack cloth. Apply a layer of DecoArt Traditions Glazing Medium. Let dry. Trace and transfer pattern.
