BRANCH
Repeat the steps for all three ornaments. Apply Deco- Art Traditions Extender & Blending Medium and use the no. 1 liner to basecoat branch with Raw Sienna. Pick up Burnt Umber and then Opaque Titanium White, keeping brush dirty with each color, blend the colors together but make sure not to overblend. Let dry completely. Float the bottom of branch with Burnt Umber. Use no. 5/0 script liner to stroke needles with Pine Green, and keeping brush dirty, pick up Opaque Titanium White.
FINISHING
Use the flat wash brush to basecoat the ferrule of orna- ment with Light Grey Value 8. Let dry completely. Float along the bottom and up top of ferrule with a brush mix of Light Grey Value 8+Carbon Black (1:1). Highlight the top and side with Opaque Titanium White. Let dry completely. Apply one to two coats of DecoArt Traditions Satin Varnish and hang with ribbon.
