LET’S PAINT
Refer to the photo above as you paint.
STEP 1: Using the Micron pen, create a water line about 1⁄4" (6.4mm) from the bottom of the pendant. Paint the water with Turquoise Waters using the no. 2 round. Let it dry a bit, then highlight the water with a small amount of Cotton Ball using the same brush.
STEP 2: Using the Micron pen and a ruler, create a line about 1⁄4" (6.4mm) in length for the mast of the boat. Using the same pen, create a convex line starting about 1⁄8" (3.2mm) from the top of the mast and ending at the base. For the sail on the left side of the boat, create a concave line. Fill in the sails using the no. 10/0 liner and Cotton Ball. Add the flag with a small amount of Poppy.
To create the foreground grass, stipple in a small amount of Black Tie around the base of the pendant using the no. 2 filbert. Overlap the Black Tie paint with Green Beret.
STEP 3: Pick up a small amount of Canary on the no. 2 fil- bert and lightly stipple over the foreground grass.
