Phyllis Gibbs cda has been painting, designing, and teaching for more than thirty years. Although her medium of choice is oils, she also enjoys working with fabric paint and acrylics. She has taught at various conventions and chapters across the United States and has traveled to Japan on five occasions to teach. She became a Certified Decorative Artist in 1985 and is a past member of the SDP Board of Directors. Her home chapter is Heart of Ohio Tole.
