Mida Bowers, SDP member since 1989 and founding member of Apple Blossom Decorative Painters in Mountain Home, Ark., passed away in January 2015. She resided in Montello, Wis.
Shirley Keyes, an SDP member since 1978 and one of our founding members, passed away
in January 2015. She was a member of West Michigan Decorative Artists (WMDA) and resided in Lowell, Mich. Shirley was dedicated to WMDA, serving in all official positions as well as offering to help with any committee or seminar. She was honored to have one of her
original pieces accepted into the National Museum of Decorative Painting. We will greatly miss her warmth, her joy in painting and her friendship at our chapter meetings.
Ramona Myers, an SDP member since 1978, passed away in January 2015. She was a very talented painter and wonderful friend! She was a member of the Kansas Wheathearts Chapter in Wichita, Kan.
Patricia Lanois, SDP member since 1981 and a member of Susquehanna Country Decorative Artists, passed away in December 2014. She resided in Johnstown, N.Y.

Individual member: name, month and year of death, city of residence, and affiliated chapter(s) if applicable. Business member: name, month and year of death, city of residence, affiliated chapter(s) if applicable, and business.
PURCHASED OBITUARY
Sometimes the deceased does not fall into the complimen- tary extended obituary category, but friends or loved ones wish to have an extended obituary listed in the magazine. The Decorative Painter offers an alternative obituary space that chapters, family, and SDP members can purchase for $75 in order to honor an SDP friend. It includes a photo and up to one hundred words of text written by the individual
or group who purchases the space. The purchased obituary will be printed on the “In Memory” page of the magazine. A statement at the bottom indicates who purchased the space (e.g., “Memorial provided by the Wildflowers of Texoma Chapter of SDP”).
Note: As with all text appearing in The Decorative Painter magazine, obituary text submitted for publication is subject to editing.
