SURFACE
MDF or plywood oval tray 17" x 12" (43.18 x 30.48 cm)

COLOR MIXES
Prepare puddles of the following color mixes and store them in containers.
Pale Orange Mix: Norwegian Orange+Warm White (1:1)
Blue Mix: Prussian Blue Hue+Burnt Sienna+Warm White (1:2:1)
Pale Blue Mix: Colony Blue+Warm White (1.5:1)
Green Mix: Jade+Olive Green (2:1)
Dark Orange Mix: Norwegian Orange+Burnt Sienna (1:3)
LET’S PAINT
Use your preferred size of round brush appropriate for the strokework. Use the liner brush for shading and highlights. Mix Jo Sonja’s Flow Medium with the paints for liner work con- sistency. Apply small dots with the stylus. The large dots on the seedpods are done with the bottom part of the handle of one of your brushes.
CAPITOL SIENNA OUTER EDGE
SCROLLS: Basecoat the orange scrolls with Norwegian Orange. For shading use Brown Earth. Highlight with Pale Orange Mix.
OVAL RINGS: Basecoat with Brown Earth at the back and Pale Orange Mix at the front.
YELLOW TULIPS: Basecoat with Raw Sienna. Use Brown Earth for shading and highlight with Turners Yellow.
