SnOWFLAKES: Basecoat with Oyster Beige using the no. 6 chisel. Using the no. 1 shader brush, paint the leaves and berries like the ones on the tin following the previous in- structions. You may eliminate the extra shading, highlight- ing, and reflected light on the leaves and berries, if desired, since these do not need as much detail. Using the no. 6 chis- el brush, float Milk Chocolate on the outside edges.
SNOWMAN TIN
After the initial basecoat, continue with layers of Deep Midnight Blue until full coverage is achieved. Allow to dry; transfer the design.
SnOWmAn: Basecoat the head and arm using the no. 6 chisel with Snow White. Float a shade of Williamsburg Blue around the edges of the head and arm. If the floated edge meeting the basecoat is too harsh, soften with an old scruffy brush by pouncing along that edge, which must be done quickly before the paint dries. Using the no. 6 chisel brush with Oyster Beige, basecoat the hat and scarf. Float Raw Sienna shading around the outside edges of the scarf, hat brim, and outside edge of the hat.
Basecoat the pom-pom using the no. 2 shader with Snow White. Float Milk Chocolate around the pom-pom to shade.

LEAvES: Basecoat the leaves using the no. 6 filbert with Hauser Light Green. Float a shade of Plantation Pine at the base of the leaves, behind the berries, randomly on pointed tips, and down the shaded side of the center vein. Using the no. 6 chisel, highlight a float of Lemonade on the edges and along the center vein opposite the shading area. Refer to the step-by-step above. Using the no. 18/0 script liner with water-thinned Lemonade, line the center and side veins. With the same brush with Plantation Pine, float shading in the triangular area where the center vein and side veins meet. Strengthen the shading at the base of each leaf and where one leaf overlaps another leaf. Thin Golden Straw with water and wash over the highlighted areas us- ing a no. 6 chisel to brighten the area. Accent the leaves with Antique Maroon. Using the no. 6 chisel, float accents on some of the tips, edges, and the base of each leaf. BERRIES: Using the no. 2 shader, basecoat each berry with Tuscan Red. Float a C-stroke on left sides with An- tique Maroon. Highlight the upper right of the berries with a float of Cadmium Red. Repeat the highlighting on the upper-right area using Fiery Red. Add a reflected light with Williamsburg Blue to the lower left side of each berry. Using the no. 18/0 brush with Lamp Black, paint a dot for the blossom end.
