STEP-BY-STEP
GREEn LEAvES AnD BLuE SCROLLS
Use the arrows on the pattern to indicate the direction to pull the strokes for the leaves and scrolls.

Load the no. 3 round in Reindeer Moss Green and tip shallow in Traditional Raw Umber. Pull pointed comma-stroke leaves from their base to the outer tips. Use the no. 3 round for smaller strokes along the side of the long S-shaped stroke, and the no. 4 round for the remaining strokes, including the large C-shape and the S-shape strokes. Load the rounds in Spa Blue and tip in Uni- form Blue. Refine your strokes as needed.
WELCOmE
Use the no. 5/0 liner for all steps. Load in Cocoa and pull in the pointed comma sections of each letter.
Shade with lines of Traditional Burnt Sienna pulled up from the bottom of each letter.
Then pull in the fine Cocoa lines that complete the letters.
Further shade with shorter lines of Primary Blue.
Highlight toward the top of each letter with a line of Banana Cream. Use a small brush handle to dot Cocoa at the end of the circle in the W.
DOTS
Use a small brush handle to dot Spa Blue at the end of the curl on the long S-shaped scroll. Dot Cocoa at the stem end of the flower and at the end of the circle in the W. Highlight the Cocoa dots with Banana Cream using the no. 5/0 liner.
Accent the outer leaf tips with a line of Cocoa on the no. 5/0 liner.
Extend the outer dark blue tips to a fine point using the no. 5/0 liner with Uniform Blue. On the S-shaped scroll, extend the outer tip into a curl with Spa Blue and then pull lines into the stroke. Using the no. 5/0 liner, pull lines of Spa Blue in from the light end of all remaining blue strokes. Pull lines of Primary Blue in from the dark end of all strokes to darken further.
