BYLAW
CHAnGES APPROvED BY mEmBERSHIP
Society members attending the 2014 annual meet- ing were asked to vote on five proposed amendments to the SDP Bylaws. All proposed amendments were
published in Issue #1-2014 and in the Conference Program Booklet. Two of the five were approved by a
majority of those attending the meeting.
FIRST PROPOSED AmEnDmEnT: The passage of this amendment now allows all future proposed amendments to the Society Bylaws to be published
in the last official publication distributed prior to the annual meeting, or to be made available
via email notification to the membership at least ninety days prior to the annual meeting.
The approval of the amendment also calls for fu-
ture proposed amendments submitted by others to be submitted to the SDP Board of Directors by August 1 prior to the annual meeting.
FIFTH PROPOSED AmEnDmEnT: The passage of this amendment was primarily a grammatical improve- ment to the existing amendment. It was a simple change in language from who to which in Article XV—
Chapters, Section 5.
The other proposed amendments were not approved
