GLASS
Wet with Extender and shade again with Carbon Black+Opaque White, this time a darker mix.
Apply tints of green with Medium Green+Yellow Ochre, marked as G on Diagram 3, and Medium Green marked as MG. Re-highlight with Opaque White (W) and with Warm White (WW). Let dry.
TABLE
Shade reflections on the left side with Naphthol Red+Ultramarine Blue+Carbon Black.
Tint right side with Ultramarine Blue. Highlight right side with Opaque White+Ultramarine Blue. Re-highlight with Opaque White.
BLUE GLASS BALL
Shade under the metal with Ultramarine Blue+Carbon Black.
GLAZING STAGE
Wet with DecoArt Traditions Extender & Blending Me- dium and glaze highlight and tints in the glass, table and
ornaments using the mixes below. Refer to Diagram 4. Use a no. 4 flat brush to apply the colors and a dome round brush to blend them. You need the following colors in your palette: Opaque White, Yellow Oxide, Warm White, Ultramarine Blue, Naphthol Red, and Carbon Black. Use the following mixes (Refer to Glazing Stage above):
YT = Yellow Oxide+Warm White
UB = Ultramarine Blue
PB = Ultramarine Blue+Warm White R = Naphthol Red
BB = Ultramarine Blue+Carbon Black W = Opaque White
LR = Naphthol Red+Warm White
DR = Naphthol Red+Carbon Black VDR = DR+Carbon Black
MG = Medium Green
DG = Medium Green+Carbon Black
G = Carbon Black+Warm White
CB = Opaque White+Ultramarine Blue WW = Warm White
YO = Yellow Oxide
B = Carbon Black
Let dry. Varnish with Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze.
