Using the no. 5/0 liner, pull long Taffy Cream lines out from the tail of the strokes to lighten.
STEP 1
Load the no. 4 round with Taffy Cream and tip in Coral Blush. Form the rose opening with a straight comma-stroke. Pull in side petals with curved comma-strokes.
Load the no. 4 round with Peaches ‘n Cream and tip in Autumn Red. Pull two curved comma-strokes forming the bowl. Using the no. 5/0 liner, lighten out from tails with Peaches ‘n Cream lines.
Load no. 1 round with Peaches ‘n Cream and tip in Autumn Red for small comma- strokes forming turned edges on the side petals. Load in Coral Blush and tip in Deep Burgundy for the commas on bowl strokes.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Load the no. 5/0 liner with tipping color for a line pulled out from the side of the stroke and along the petal edge. Using the tip of the brush handle dipped in Light Avocado, add a small dot in the opening and the larger dot at the base of the center of the flower.
Using the no. 5/0 liner, pull lines of loading color out from the tail of turned edges. Add highlight dots with Taffy Cream.

Load the no. 1 round with Taffy Cream and tip in Light Avocado. Pull a curved comma-stroke at the end of some curls. Using the no. 5/0 liner with Light Avocado, pull curls. Continuing with the liner, brush-mix Lilac+Mulberry and pull the tendrils. Break the line where required for control. Load the no. 1 round with Lilac, tip in Mulberry, and pull violet comma groups. Load the brush with Taffy Cream and tip in Coral Blush for remaining comma groups. Using the tip of the brush handle, add dots of Mulberry at
the end of the middle curl.
