 CURVED PRESSURE STROKE
STEP 1
If right-handed, point the brush tip to the left as you lay the brush down, hesitating to allow the brush to open. Reverse your direction if you are left-handed.
STEP 4
The brush should be up on the bristle tips at the end of the stroke. Note the brush tip has relaxed to form a chisel.
STEP 2
Pull the brush in a curved path to the right, releasing pressure to taper the stroke as the brush moves along its course. Pull to the left if left-handed.
STEP 5
Slide on the knife-edge of the chisel to form the tail of the stroke and sweep the brush tip off the surface.
STEP 3
Continue to pull in a curved path while releasing pressure.
