 STRAIGHT PRESSURE STROKE
   STEP 1
Lay the brush down, hesitating to allow the brush to open. You may press down to the fer- rule for wider strokes.
STEP 4
The brush should be up on the bristle tips at the end of the stroke. Note the brush tip has relaxed to form a chisel.
STEP 2
Pull the brush in a straight path, releasing pres- sure to taper the stroke as the brush moves along its course.
STEP 5
Pivot the chisel 90 degrees and slide on the knife- edge to form the tail at the end of the stroke.
STEP 3
Continue to pull in a straight path, gradually releasing pressure.
STEP 6
Sweep the brush tip off the surface.
