                                                                                                      BITTERSWEET BRANCHES
Line in with a brush-mix of Evergreen+Heritage Brick (2:1). Add berries with the back end of a large brush. (I couldn’t get them to stick with a smaller brush.) Don’t worry if they are not perfectly round. Add a dot of Tangelo to highlight and shade at the opposite side with Heritage Brick. Add some extra berries to branches with DecoArt Craft Twinkle Writer, Orange.
SHADING
With a brush-mix of Evergreen+Heritage Brick (2:1), dry-brush around the edge of the plate and inside the rim of the plate. Add more Heritage Brick to the mix and brush in and around the entire design, making it wider at the right of the pumpkin, around and under
the lower leaves, keeping it narrower and a bit lighter as you get to the top of the pumpkin and top leaf. I did this very lightly on the left side of the pumpkin. Pick up Black Plum on a dirty brush and add more shading in the darker areas; repeat, picking up Graphite and using this mainly under the leaves and at the bottom right of the pumpkin.
GLITTER
I love using glitter! I used the Tiger Orange Glit- ter Paint on the pumpkin, red/orange leaf, and berries and a little on green/yellow leaves where I added some orange. I used DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glit- ter Paint, Limelight on the stem, green/yellow leaves, the lettering, and top of stenciled areas where the Chartreuse Yellow is. Enjoy!
