BASECOAT THE FOLLOWING:
Flesh Tone: Face
Burnt Umber: Fur trim
Raw Umber: Inside of coat sleeves
Lamp (Ebony) Black: Hair, mustache and beard, boots
Santa Red: Gloves, cardinal, pants
Hauser Dark Green: Ivy leaves, right shirt sleeve (not coat sleeve) Navy Blue: Bluebird (There are three, one on the right hand and two tucked into the bend of Santa’s left arm)
Light Mocha: Sack, dove
Sable Brown: Owl
Yellow Ochre: Birds on top of hat, all other birds’ beaks,
boot buckles
Light Cinnamon: Rope belt, staff
Grey Sky: Bells and rocks
Navy Blue: Trim down center of coat, birdhouse and base. This is where your color will depend on your fabric choice. I used Navy Blue because that was the darkest color in my fabric. Your fabric will be different than mine, so choose this color based on your own fabric. You will replace the Navy Blue with a color of your choice and proceed as printed with everything else.
