In 1979 I bought a book by Joan Johnson mda. In the introduction to that book, she wrote something I never forgot. I would like to quote her here, and I hope it inspires you as it did me. It’s slightly revised for length.

I would like to acknowledge God as the creator of all things in this world. He gives us the world’s beauty from which we draw our ideas. He gives us the talent to feel a slight sense of design within ourselves. He gives us the love of sharing with others.
