his painting was inspired by a wonderful trip I made to England last year. We spent a week traveling in the Cotswolds area, visiting Snowshill Manor and the lovely lavender fields nearby. It was so gorgeous I

wanted to preserve my memory, with a few artist’s liberties added! I hope you enjoy painting it.
LET’S PAINT
Sand plate and remove any residue using a tack cloth. Seal the plate with DecoArt Multi-Purpose Sealer. Let dry, then trace and transfer the pattern onto the plate using white graphite pa- per. Using an oval brush, basecoat all the areas using the follow- ing colors:
BASECOATS
Sky: Baby Blue
Straw Field: Moon Yellow
Green Pastures: Light Avocado
Road: Toffee
Lavender: Lavender
Wheat Grasses: Toffee
Barn: Driftwood
Grass base under lower rows of lavender: Jade Green,
use chisel edge of 1⁄4" angle brush Outer rim of plate: Jade Green Stone Fence: Neutral Grey
