Using a rectangular kitchen sponge, basecoat the surface with a mix of Graphite Neutral Grey+DecoArt Multi-Purpose Sealer (3:1). Dab the paint on the surface creating an eggshell tex- ture. Lightly sand, wipe and repeat. Next, trace the pattern on tracing paper, and transfer the mountains and ocean horizon line using gray graphite paper, the ruler, and the stylus.
Tip: It is best to save the mixes on a Sta-Wet palette and mist occasionally with clean water. Do not use the Sta-Wet palette for painting ap- plication, but instead transfer the paints onto the paper palette first.
