Load your liner brush with True Ochre and paint the rim line on the inside rim of the plate. Load your liner and paint the stroke work detail on each corner of the plate.
Let cure for at least three or four days. Apply three coats
of DecoArt Dura Clear Satin Varnish, lightly steel wool and apply a fourth coat. You are all done with your painting.

Maureen has been creating art since she was a child growing up in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. In her youth she dabbled in numerous mediums.
Her love for color and texture lured her more and more into painting. Painting on canvas is where she began. The idea of painting on a variety of surfaces opened all kinds of creative ideas and challenges. The world of pos- sibility grew to endless creative opportunities: walls, furniture, metal, clothing and many more surfaces. Defining unique space in her home and studio was so rewarding.
Age 45 is when she came to the realization that she should dedicate her career to doing what she loves. From
there she began the journey of painting professionally. She has won numerous awards locally, regionally and nationally. Maureen's work is shown in many juried shows and private collections throughout New England.
Teaching locally, regionally and nationally, Maureen is now designing full-time. Living on a wonderful natural pond she finds great inspiration from the natural beauty around her.
