    CAR
Basecoat with two layers of Country Blue. Shade to separate the car sections with sideload floats and linework of Uniform Blue. Highlight the top curves of the wheels with a sideload float of Baby Blue. Paint the car windows with sheer Snow (Ti- tanium) White. Shade across the bottom of the windows with a soft sideload float of Uniform Blue. Detail the windows with thin horizontal glass lines in Snow (Titanium) White. Outline the windows with True Red, highlighted on the top curves with a top line of Melon. Paint the door handles with a dash of Lemonade. Basecoat the wheels in Lamp (Ebony) Black. Detail the wheels with a center dot of Bright Green and an outline of Snow (Titanium) White. Basecoat the car key with Bright Green. Shade the car key with a sideload float in a mix of Bright Green+Lamp (Ebony) Black (1:tch). Paint the holes in the key with Spa Blue and outline them with Lemonade.
DUCK
Basecoat the duck with one layer of Mustard Seed. Using a 1⁄4" stipple brush, highlight the sections with Cadmium Yellow, then Pineapple. Shade to separate the duck sections with a soft sideload float of Milk Chocolate. Paint the duck ‘feathers’ with short (1⁄8") lines of Cadmium Yellow, working up in bright- ness with additional layers of Pineapple, then Snow (Titanium) White. To achieve a “messy feather” look, vary the direction of the linework. Basecoat the beak with Burnt Orange. Shade the top curve and separate the beak sections with a soft sideload float of Napa Red. Highlight the beak with a sideload float in a mix of Melon+Bright Orange (1:tch). Further highlight the beak with a line in a mix of Melon+Bright Orange (1:tch). Reinforce the shading on the duck to separate the sections and around the beak with another soft sideload float of Milk Chocolate. Basecoat the small eyes with Milk Chocolate. Paint a small iris with Lamp (Ebony) Black and add a highlight dot into each eye with Snow (Titanium) White.
