Around the world tulips are
historically and traditionally
a symbol of spring. With that
in mind, the overall design and surface are much like old Penn Dutch folk art painting. The background was painted to look like ancient parchment paper. The contemporary spins are the colors and painting style with shading, highlighting, and polka dots that add a little whimsy.... Hello, new century!
