PREPARATION
1. Sand and seal the box, then paint Antique White, inside and out.
2. When dry, antique. This goes around the top of the lid, the edges of the lid, and around the bottom edge of the box. There are two ways to accomplish this:
A. Use the largest brush to double load with Antique White and Traditional Burnt Umber. With Traditional Burnt Umber toward the edges, paint and blend with
the mops.
B. Simply float Traditional Burnt Umber where needed and mop to soften. Dry.
3. Sand edges of the box. I like to do this - in decorative painting, the surface is often an integral part of the art and design. Sanding the edges brings out the interesting shape.
4. Transfer the repeating pattern.
