    FINISHING
1. Use Traditional Burnt Umber to paint the leaf design on the side of the box. Start with a liner brush, making a line about 1/2" above the bottom edge. Use the sable round brush to add leaves.
2. The ornate cut out designs on the sides of the lid are painted a different color on each side, repeating the colors from the top – Irish Moss, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, and Salem Blue.
3. Finish the inside with several coats Americana Sealer/Finisher, matte or satin.
   Prudy Vannier cda has loved art since she could hold a crayon. She graduated with an art degree in printmaking but raising children was a priority to an art career. In 1988, Prudy was introduced to SDP and decorative painting at a convention. and her life changed.Today, in her 70’s, she still designs, paints, and teaches. She is enjoying life to its fullest, thanks to SDP and her grandchildren.
