  LET’S PAINT
BASECOAT
Apply three basecoats according to the following instruc- tions, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Basecoat the dress with Brilliant Red on the no. 8 round. Us- ing the same color, switch to the no. 3 round and basecoat the purse, heart flowers, and the border of the large heart. The coverage should be smooth, with no texture. When the basecoats are completely dry, sand them lightly with sanding film. Sand gently, so that red dust is not smeared onto the background. The lips, earrings, and fingernails will be inked later using the red pen.
