STEP 3: Still using Raw Umber, use the no. 6 round to establish a contrast behind the rocks with a grass and leaf pattern, as shown.
STEP 5: With Ruby Red on the no. 6 round, add some flowers. Put some color into the rooftops and umbrellas.
FINAL DETAILS
I love saving the tiny birds for last. They instill some life and add some depth to the sky. They should come out of the cloud area and not the blue of the sky. It is a little more subtle that way. Outside of any small items you would like to add, this completes your painting.

STEP 4: Using your Oval Foam brush from Keith’s Special Effects Kit, dab spots of color for flowers. Your colors can consist of Saffron Green and Indian Yellow. Add small dots of Pro White with the no. 4 round.
STEP 6: Add some Indian Yellow to umbrellas using the no. 4 round. Add colors of your choice to the clothing of the painters. Sharpen the cracks in the rocks with the no. 6 Keith’s Special Effects Brush and some Warm Grey. With the no. 8 round, add some areas of Saffron Green, as shown along the pathway, underneath an umbrella, and to spots of clothing.
