Basic painting supplies (page 96) C-Thru Ruler
Pigma Micron Pen (no. 01, black) Wax free graphite paper
 BRANCHES AND RED BERRIES
Refer to the Step-by-Step on page 25.
STEP 1: Using the liner brush with a wash of Burnt Sienna+Burnt Umber to paint the branches.
STEP 2: Use a wash of Quinacridone Red for red berries. If you want orange berries, add New Gamboge+Quinacridon Red to it.
HOLLY
Refer to the Step-by-Step on page 24.
STEP 1: Leaving a tiny amount of white paper showing for the berries highlight, basecoat the berries with a wash of Opera Red.
STEP 2: Apply Quinacridone Red over the basecoat for shading.
To make the holly leaves, apply a wash Permanent Sap Green, followed with a wash of Permanent Sap Green+Indigo (1:tch) in the shadow area. Add accent on leaves using Quinacridone Red.
