PREPARATION
Basecoat the plaque with equal parts of Blue Chiffon+ DecoArt Multi-Surface Sealer. Let dry completely and then sand off any raised fibers. Add another coat of Blue Chiffon only. Let dry and then transfer the outline for the tree line and the top of the road only.
LET’S PAINT BACKGROUND TREES
Using the stippler brush and Hauser Dark Green, stipple in the tree area behind the bridge. Leave a bit of the background color showing through for the sky. Let dry and then transfer the tree trunks using light transfer paper. The tree trunks and branches on the left side of the bridge are basecoated with Pebble using the no. 2 round brush. Add the trees on the right side of the bridge using Raw Umber. Dry-brush the trunks on the left side with Light Mocha using the small mezzaluna brush. (Hint: When dry-brushing, load the dry brush with paint and rub onto a paper towel to remove most of the paint. Then scrub the color onto the surface to add a nice soft high- light.) Using the same dirty brush, dry-brush Pebble onto the
