When working with extender on the surface and in your brush, do not use any water as water will act as a solvent and lift the color. Dress a 3⁄4" angle brush with DecoArt Traditions Extender & Blending Medium and blot on a paper towel; sideload with Brown Mix and shade the corners of the in-
set, the ground, the corners and over the sides as desired. Blend and soften with a 3⁄4" mop. Extender takes longer to dry giving you time to blend and soften the color. Use a hair dryer to speed-dry.
Add two coats of DecoArt Traditions Satin Varnish and enjoy!

         Linda Sharp cda was introduced to decorative painting in 1980 and began teaching in 1982. She joined SDP in 1987. Strokework and flowers are her favorite things to paint, though she constantly studies and challenges herself with new things. Linda loves designing and has had several articles published. She passed her CDA in stroke in 2007, her MDA stroke in 2010, and continues working to achieve her MDA. Linda enjoys sharing the joy of painting with students, other artists, and the community.
