 VALUE COLOR MAP
LARGE LEAVES (ANTHURIUM)
STEP 1: See the Value Color Map above. Paint Low Dark, Dark, Medium, Light and Highlight Mix using a no. 6 flat. STEP 2: Blend colors. Be careful not to over-blend. STEP 3: Using a no. 6 flat, lightly add Reflect Mix into each of the leaves. You can lightly add more Reflect Mix if you desire.
VIBARNUM TINUS (RED BERRIES)
Using a no. 2 flat basecoat the berries with Dark and Low Dark Mix. Blend with a 2/0 mop.
LEAVES AROUND SMALL LEAVES, AND STEMS
STEP 1: Refer to the Value Color Map above.
Paint Highlight, Light, Medium, Dark and Low Dark Mixes with no. 2 flat. Blend with 2/0 mop. Create warm and cold color leaves randomly throughout the bouquet.
STEP 2: Using a 10/0 script liner with Dark and/or Low Dark Mix, connect leaves to the stems.
STEP 3: Add Highlight Mix in the bright areas with 10/0 script liner.
STEP 4: Add a hint Vibarnum Tinus Mix, if you want.
STEMS INSIDE OF GLASS
STEP 1: Refer to Value Color Map above. Add Dark and Light Mix with no. 2 flat.
STEP 2: Add Low Dark and Highlight Mix with a no. 2 flat and/or 10/0 script liner on some of the stems. Paint the stems differently so they will not all look the same.
GLASS
LEFT SIDE OF GLASS: Sideload a no. 8 flat with High- light Mix. Add shining spot with a no. 0 flat with Highlight Mix. Using a 10/0 script liner with Highlight Mix, add a glass line on the foot of the glass, next add a shining line.
