It is so much fun to paint a landscape using this great me- dium of alcohol ink. There are so many techniques that you can use to achieve the look you are going for.
This lesson is on how to create a silhouette landscape with a textured sky. I have chosen to keep this very simple. There is a body of water that could be the ocean or a lake but I have kept it at the beginning stage with very few reflections. That will be for another lesson!
There are many surfaces you can paint on including tiles, glass plates or Yupo paper depending on how you want to use the design – functional or decorative.
PREPARATION
Protect your work area by covering it with heavy paper or plastic before you begin. Set out the paints you will need, the Blending Solution, brushes, tiles, Yupo paper, gloves, applica- tor stamp, felt, scissors, Dust-Off Electronics Duster, gloves, small containers and paper towels.
