THE INLAND JOURNEY OF UP TOURISM FERRY (PNJ 821)

                                      FROM GANGA SAGAR TO VARANASI

                                                    Introduction

The inland journey of the Ferry stated on 25 Dec 2020 when the ferry reached Ganga Sagar

after 33 grueling days at Sea, sailing 3192 km around the Indian Peninsula. The crew was bat-
tered with choppy seas and difficult living conditions. But a sailor has nerves of steel and he can
fathom anything on the way to smile in his heart. This Ferry, which is meant for Inland water-
ways, withstood the vagaries of the Sea; which is a tribute to every person from Goa Shipyard
Limited, the manufacturer of this Ferry and the Crew.
